At Gueriniere, the island of Noirmoutier narrows before becoming the bay of Bourgneuf. It is in a pine forest on this stretch of headland just ½ mile wide that the Hotel Punta Lara was built facing the Atlantic
Hidden away in the "spit of the Loire" with its dune and tamarisks are fifteen Vendean Houses like some oasis village, blending perfectly with the seascape. The hotel offers open-air facilities such as outdoor heated swimming-pool, tennis court, sea-fishing, biking, mini-excursions to the neighbouring islands. But in addition to this, it is also an ideal place for congresses, conferences or receptions in the salon.
TRADITIONNAL RESTAURANT
At lunch, around the pool or on the terrace, we can accomodate about 80 people for our buffet in july an august.
At dinner, in a restaurant made of glass and wood, facing the ocean and the pool, our team will serve you the dishes cooked by our chef Michael Lechault and his team, tainted of thousands of flavors both from the land and the sea and also with mixtures from all around the world, made with products mainly from our island like :
Grilled Foie Gras and its pear chutney, Lobster Twist, Pressed foie gras with scampi and stewed peach with tea flavor, Grilled shade fish with pesto, cuttlefish ink pasta and baby vegetables, Turbot fish in speculoos crust with morel risotto and tonka bean sauce, Nantes Short bread biscuit as a millefeuille, madagascar vanilla unctuous and its red pepper coulis, Apple hearts crystallized with cider, nougatine streuzel with buckwheat.
Every friday night : Sea shells and oyster buffet "eat as much as you like" for 39 € (also with cheese plate and dessert buffet) 120 seats for individuals, 250 for conventions or banquets
